VERSAILLES — The Versailles volleyball program continues to add to its season’s accomplishments, with three Lady Tigers and head coach Liz McNeilan recognized in the District 9 Division V annual awards.
Senior Kiley May earned District Player of the Year honors for the second consecutive season and joined junior Rowan Schmitmeyer on the first team. Junior Allie Wietholter received second-team recognition, while McNeilan was named Coach of the Year.
The district awards follow a strong showing in the Midwest Athletic Conference honors. May was named MAC Player of the Year for the second straight season, with both May and Schmitmeyer earning first-team All-MAC recognition. Wietholter received honorable mention.
For May, the latest honors build on an accomplished varsity career that includes third-team All-Ohio recognition in Division V in both 2024 and 2025. Her repeat district and conference Player of the Year selections add another highlight to her senior season.
McNeilan’s recognition also follows last year’s District 9 Division V Co-Coach of the Year award, marking another season in which both Versailles’ players and their coach have been recognized.
